Inspiration Board: Billy Buttons & Cactus
I see these tiny flowers popping up everywhere and love the idea of them spread throughout a wedding. Its simple shape and size works to fill small vases, add color the grooms boutonneire or the bride’s bouquet. Speaking of the bouquet , isn’t amazing. I love the cactus flowers it is so unique.

Interfaith Ceremony Options
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky were married on Saturday July 31st. A high profile wedding such as theirs had elements that most other weddings wouldn’t have like security guards, custom gowns by famous designers and celebrity guests, but one wedding element that Chelsea and Marc had in common with other couples was the interfaith ceremony.
It must be a little more difficult to plan an interfaith ceremony as there are a couple of routes you can go. Some couples decide to have two ceremonies, some have a fusion or combo wedding where elements or traditions from each faith are incorporated, and some couples may have clergy from each faith, a rabbi and a reverend for example, co-officiate the ceremony.
If you’re planning an interfaith wedding, we’d love to hear how you’re making it happen.

Fun Fancy Color Diamonds
If you are looking for a diamond wedding, engagement or anniversary ring that’ll stand out from the crowd, you may want to check out fancy color diamonds.

Image courtesty of Aurora Gems
Colored diamonds come in a variety of shades like yellow, pink, brown, or even blue and are valued because of the intensity of their color. The shade of a colored diamond is natural not man-made. Colored diamonds can be purchased as part of a ring or loose for use in a custom setting. You can purchase more than one colored diamond and design a ring with multiple colors too. Pink or yellow, also known as canary, colored diamonds are rare and can be quite expensive although if you do your homework, you can find some affordable alternatives.
Educate yourself on the grading of colored diamonds and on selecting gemstones in general at the Gemological Institute of America. Learn the 4Cs of diamond value in this 3 minute video.
