The Stately Style of Princess Victoria
If regal or majestic is the type of look you’re aspiring to for your wedding day, look to Princess Victoria for inspiration. Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria looked gorgeous at her June 19th wedding to Daniel Westling in Stockholm’s Storkyrkan Cathedral. The biggest European royal wedding since Prince Charles and Lady Diana had no shortage of stateliness or style.
Princess Victoria wore an ivory, short-sleeved, off-the-shoulder gown designed by Par Engsheden and the Cameo tiara her mother Queen Silvia wore at her own wedding on June 19th, 1976. The tiara, constructed of gold, pearls, and cameos, provided a stunning contrast to her simple, classic dress and jewelry.
