Our Family Wedding in Theaters March 12th
Well with all the Oscar talk this past week, I still have movies on my mind! As I mentioned in my last blog, wedding themed movies are very popular and there’s a new wedding comedy coming out on March 12th, Our Family Wedding, that may be on our list of favorite marriage movies next time.
Billed as a “clash-of-cultures” comedy, Our Family Wedding is about a couple who comes back from college and announces to their families that they are getting married. It’s hard enough for two families of the same culture to get on the same page when planning their children’s weddings, but when there is a culture clash of two families whose members each have strong personalities and their own traditions, there’s bound to be some rivalry, humor, and excitement.
The talented cast includes actors Forest Whitaker as Brad Boyd, father-of-the-groom, America Ferrara as Lucia Ramirez, the bride, Carlos Mencia as Miguel Ramirez, father-of-the-bride, Regina King as Angela, the groom’s father’s best friend, and Lance Gross as Marcus Boyd, the groom.
The bright cast makes the film look fun and it should definitely be worth checking out.
