Gown Preservation Goes Green
The environmentally conscious bride might be interested to learn that there is an eco-friendly way to have their wedding gown preserved. The Association of Wedding Gown Specialists (AWGS) has partnered with the Carbonfund.org to offer carbon neutral wedding gown preservations.
All emissions generated in the gown-preservation process are offset by donations to Carbonfund.org. Look for the Zero CarbonTM label, a Carbonfund.org trademark, on wedding gown preservations and donations will fund reforestation projects worldwide.
So when you’re looking to have your wedding gown cleaned, ask if they are a member of the AWGS and offer carbon neutral gown preservation. Visit the AWGS website to find a participating specialist near you.
