World’s Longest Wedding Dress
Newspapers and websites all over the globe are reporting that Romanian designer Oana Comanescu has created the world’s longest wedding dress. It’s even listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
The dress has a train measuring 1579 meters (over 14 football fields), 217 meters longer than any other, is studded with 7,000 Swarovski crystals, took 25 people 30 days to make, and costs more than $4,000. This is a dress you can definitely make a statement with!
The dress is on display in Romania at Bucharest’s E-marriage festival. Brides interested in purchasing the dress will not be able to try it on as it is being sold through an Internet auction. Because of the long train, it’s suggested that potential buyers ride in an extra-long stretch limo and have lots of bridesmaids to help get the bride down the aisle.
