Valentine’s Day Dinner & Movie Night
With so much talk of cutting spending these days, I was thinking about how maybe instead of going out for a fancy, expensive dinner, or asking for some pricey jewelry for Valentine’s Day, it might be nice to stay home with my man and rent a romantic movie or two. I started to think about what some of my favorite romantic movie picks would be and immediately thought of Ghost, An Officer and a Gentleman and Titanic (ok, a bit of a tear-jerker, but ooh the love story). I could watch them a hundred times and probably have.
Nice dinner and a movie at home for Valentine’s Day – sounds like a plan – but I wanted to find some more good romances to choose from when I came across a list from Better Homes and Gardens: Editors’ Picks: 30 Top Romantic Movies for Valentine’s Day. A couple of my picks were in their list and a few other great films I hadn’t thought of in a while but loved. Here are their top 10:
