Real Wedding: Vanessa & Ness
Can we just take a moment to look at this insanely adorable picture of these little ones below. Doesn’t it just make you believe that when people say brides have dreamt of their wedding day since they were little girls…that this is the moment they speak of. *tear* I imagine that as these little ones watch on the happy bride and groom are twirling around the dance floor to their first dance.
Vanessa had imagined a reception that was whimsical and romantic with a lovely dose of glamour inspired by old Hollywood. Herself a vision in a lace-trimmed gown and her brunette hair styled in pin curls and finger waves, the bride wanted “lots of delicate white flowers and white draping everywhere.” {Inside Weddings}
The music at the reception was wonderfully diverse, an essential aspect of the evening for the groom. “The music was important to me as we really wanted to convey somewhat of an international theme,” he says. “Our band was very versatile and we had a few different solo artists that sang and played instruments as well.” One musical highlight wasn’t planned in advance. “Vanessa’s grandfather got up and sang ‘Blue Moon,’ which was probably one of the most memorable moments of the night,” Ness recalls. {Inside Weddings}
“I had such an amazing time,” Vanessa admits, “and was filled with so much love and joy. If something had gone wrong or had been out of place, I wasn’t paying attention!” {Inside Weddings}
