Real Wedding: Kelly & Keith
I instantly fell in love with Kelly & Keith’s day on InsideWeddings.com! It is truely the perfect beach wedding. The details are amazing and the photographers are breathtaking. Let me tell you a little bit about this couples special day…
On the day of Kelly & Keith’s move into their new home Keith suprises Kelly by asking for her hand in marriage. He filled a room full of flower petals and got on one knee. He held a ring made of her grandmothers engagement diamonds when he asked her to be his wife. “He told me that we wanted me to build the ring of my dreams,” Kelly says, “and then we popped the champagne in our new home!” (read more…)
From the day forward they begin to plan their wedding day. This beautiful wedding took place on The Big Island in Hawaii on April 26th 2008. The guests were asked to wear shades of white & ivory as the bride liked “the idea of my closest friends and family wearing white with me. “In a sense, they would be walking down the aisle with me.”

One thing that I absolutley loved about this wedding was this unique idea with a canvas. The couples friends and family were asked to take a paint brush and take one stroke along the canvas. Later the officiant would paint in the vows. This painting now hangs in the couples home. It “reminds us that everyone who contributed believed in our future together.” says the happy couple.

Look at these amazing photos! Despite the fact that its tradition for only the bride to wear white the bridal party looks beautiful and the group shot above is exquisite! The twist on the ever so popular sand kit is wonderful. Using coconuts is such a great idea!

Love the idea of the canvas painting – but only for small weddings. Can you imagine all the strokes if there were 200 guests??!
love it, thanks for such kind words! 1.5yrs later we decided to google our names and this came up, what a pleasant surprise.
