Presidential Pick May be Suited for your Wedding

When you’re looking for tuxedos for your wedding, you most likely won’t have celebrity stylists and designers knocking down your door to outfit your bridal party but you can take your tux cues from someone who does have access to the top names and companies in fashion.

Barack Obama, who becomes the 44th president of the United States on January 20th, selected his inaugural ball tux recently and it may be a look you’ll like for your wedding.

Barack Obama Inaugural Tux Barack Obama
The Los Angeles Times, WWD, and People Magazine reported last month that President-elect Barack Obama choose Chicago-based Hart Schaffner Marx for his inaugural ball tuxedo.  A representative from Hartmarx, Corp. said President Obama will wear a custom-made, black, 100% wool tuxedo with a one-button, satin notch lapel jacket and single-pleat trousers with a grosgrain accent.

Reportedly, an off-the-rack version of the same tuxedo can be found at Nordstrom or online at the Hart Schaffner Marx website for $895 or you can visit your local tuxedo retailer to put together a similar, more affordable version of the presidential pick.
