Free Wedding Contest from one Military Member to Another
If you are an active duty or reservist from any branch of the armed forces, live in New England and are currently engaged, have I got news for you! You can win a free wedding at The Bear Mountain Lodge B & B! It’s not every day that someone takes the time to honor people they don’t even know so when I came across this story and contest, I had to pass it on.
A Marine himself, owner Michael Kerivan and his wife Carol of The Bear Mountain Lodge B&B in New Hampshire’s White Mountains want to give back and honor the military service of those from New England. As they were doing a walkthrough for a wedding at the lodge, they decided to give away a free wedding at their B & B in 2009 to a lucky service man or woman from New England to honor the sacrifices military couples in New England make every day.
All active duty and reservists from New England are eligible to win and must submit a letter stating why they should be chosen. To be considered, the couple must mail or email a letter to The Kerivans telling about themselves, their military service, how they met, how he proposed and why they’d like to get married at Bear Mountain Lodge. “Be as creative as you want including pictures, video, etc.,” stated Carol. All letters must be received by February 9th and the winning couple will be chosen on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. More details and contact information are available at www.bearmountainlodge.net.
