Wedding Day Ride
Most storybook weddings have a prince and princess riding off in a horse drawn carriage after their wedding. This mode of transportation, although certainly still a possible way to travel to and from your wedding today, may not be the most practical way for the bride and groom to get to the reception.
The wedding day ride will vary based on a couple’s budget and on the number of people the bride and groom want to provide transportation for.
Luxury limousines with a chauffer are a good choice for most couples and can be provided for the bride and groom, their parents and the bridal party.
Stretch SUVs and limo Hummers are also available for wedding day travel and make a good choice if the bride and groom want to ride with the entire wedding party together in one place.
A trolley car is also a good option for the whole bridal party to ride in.
Some couples may prefer to rent an antique car, a Rolls-Royce or even a cool sports car like a Ferrari to take them to and from the church. And there’s still the old tradition of having the groomsmen decorate their own cars and drive with a bridesmaid to the reception.
