A trend that is growing in popularity is the Weekend Wedding! A Weekend Wedding extends the traditional wedding of ceremony, cocktail, dinner and dancing into a weekend long celebration! Not to be confused with a destination wedding that requires guests to travel far, a weekend wedding could be a location not far from where you live or work. Generally 1-3 hours away; an easy escape for friends and family.
With the strike of midnight hours away, it’s time to give thought to where you’ll have your New Year’s Eve kiss! Will you be swept up in the moment; or do you have a spot you’ll sneak away to kiss privately?!
Capturing your first kiss – or THE kiss – on your wedding day requires just as much thought. Your wedding photographer may have a few must have ‘posed’ ideas to capture a kiss; or perhaps s/he will catch you in a private moment.

You’ve found the perfect wedding gown, now it’s time to accessorize! With many wedding gowns detailed with faux pearls, rhinestones, organza flowers, sequins and other bling, it can be difficult to choose bridal jewelry that will enhance your wedding gown, not take away from it.
Bridal Jewelry DOs:
* Glam it up! Vintage gowns are trending, so is vintage inspired bridal jewelry.
* If your dress has lots of details above the waist or you are wearing a bridal headpiece with bling, go simple.
* Make a Statement. Necklaces continue to be bold and beautiful when the gown has less detailing on top.
* Pearls will always be a traditional staple. The simplicity and coloring of pearls goes well with many traditional styled wedding gowns.
* Bling it on. Bracelets can be slim or wide, simple or extravagant. Just be sure it doesn’t weigh you down!
